HOW TO USE THIS DOCUMENT

To view UltraDMA.txt on screen in Notepad, maximize the Notepad window.

To print ULTRADMA.txt, open it in Notepad or another word processor, 
then use the Print command on the File menu.

IS THIS SERIES OF QFE's FOR YOU
-------------------------------
If you are shipping UltraDMA hardware, you may want to include this
update.  It will allow you to safely use the increased hardware
performance of your hard drive and CD-ROMs that double the bus
speed.  These 2 updates need to be used together.

HOW TO INSTALL THIS QFE
-----------------------


Method #1
---------
Double click the self-extracting exe in the directory.  Be sure to reboot your system.

Method #2
---------
Copy the QFE files over the files of the same name in the
%windir%\system\iosubsys directory.
If the system has already run through hardware detection
as part of setup, the hard disk controllers in Device
Manager will have to be removed and redetected.
